Plans change. Call 218.249.0595 with your card in your hand and we will verify your benefits before your first appointment, including your deductible and copay.
Paying privately
Self-pay rates are set per session and are quoted to you before you book, so there are no surprises. A sliding scale is available based on household income — ask, it is not means-tested in any humiliating way and nobody on the phone will make it awkward.
Cancellations
We ask for 24 hours' notice. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged at the self-pay rate, because your therapist held that hour for you and cannot fill it. Illness and genuine emergencies are not charged.
FAQ
Common questions
Do I need a referral?
For most plans, no. A few HMO products require one from your primary care doctor. We will tell you when we check your benefits.
What if I cannot afford the sliding scale?
Tell us anyway. We can point you to community mental health options in Duluth if we are not the right fit financially.
Is mediation covered by insurance?
No. Mediation is not a medical service and is billed privately, usually split between the parties.
You can usually be seen this week
Depending on availability we offer same-day or next-day appointments. There is no long waitlist and no referral required for most plans.
