About Lisa

Welcome to my practice. Healing is a unique journey, and with support, meaningful change is attainable. I combine professional expertise with personal understanding to help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

I specialize in adolescent and adult mental health, providing evidence-based care with warmth and respect for your autonomy. I offer comprehensive counseling in English and Spanish to ensure an inclusive experience. True growth begins in a safe environment. Your story matters, and you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. If you’re ready to heal and change, I’m here to guide you.

I work with adults and young adults experiencing severe trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, low self-worth, stress management challenges, strained relationships, work difficulties, social isolation, boundary setting, life changes, and suicidal behaviors. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness, which have proven effective in treating PTSD, anxiety, and negative self-perceptions. I incorporate faith-based perspectives to enhance the therapeutic process. My goal is to guide clients through healing and self-discovery, empowering them to recognize their worth.

I build strong rapport and professional relationships, recognizing the vulnerability and honesty required in working with clients I don’t trust or know well. I adhere to a judgment-free practice environment, allowing clients to express themselves authentically. As a BIPOC therapist, I provide competent care to underserved populations.

With over 14 years of experience in mental health, I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University Twin Cities and am licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, walking, and spending time with family and friends. I’m eager to collaborate with you.
